Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Masoncraft Fargo Concrete and Masonry, fargoconcreteandmasonry.com, hello@fargoconcreteandmasonry.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or hire Masoncraft Fargo Concrete and Masonry for work at your property. By using the site, asking us for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.

Your written estimate or contract for a specific job comes first. Where it says something different from these terms, the estimate or contract is what we both follow.

What we do

We're a masonry contractor based in Fargo, ND, doing concrete and masonry work for homeowners in Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead and the cities around them. That includes foundation repair, tuckpointing, brick and chimney repair, retaining walls, pavers, walkways and stone work. You'll find the full list on our home page and more about our crew on our About page.

Descriptions on this site are general and meant to help you understand the work. The exact scope of your job is what's written in your estimate or contract.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free, given in person and come with no obligation. We base each one on what we can see and measure during the visit, so it reflects your property and not a general price.

Masonry and concrete work sometimes turns up problems that can't be seen until the job is open, such as soft or wet soil, crumbling block, damaged framing behind brick or buried lines. If that happens, we stop, show you what we found and explain the cost to fix it. We won't do extra work or add charges until you approve them.

An estimate stays good for the period written on it. After that, we may need to update it because material prices and our schedule change.

Scheduling, weather and cancellations

We'll agree on a start date with you and do our best to keep it. Concrete and mortar need the right temperature and dry conditions to cure properly, so we may move a job for rain, cold or frozen ground rather than risk work that won't last. We'll tell you as early as we can when that happens.

Delays caused by weather, material shortages, permit timing or other things outside our control aren't a breach of your contract, and we'll pick back up as soon as conditions allow.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know as soon as possible. If you cancel after we've ordered materials for your job or started work, you're responsible for the materials ordered and the work done up to that point, as your contract describes.

You agree to give our crew reasonable access to the work area and to point out private lines we wouldn't know about, like sprinkler pipes, invisible dog fences or wiring to a shed. If your job needs a permit, your contract will say who gets it.

Payment

Payment is due as written in your contract. Larger jobs may need a deposit before we order materials, with the balance due when the work is done.

If a payment is overdue, we may pause work until it's caught up. Unpaid balances may be sent to collection or handled through any other remedy the law allows, and you agree to cover reasonable collection costs where the law permits.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the work we did isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it and make it right as described in your contract.

Brick, stone and concrete are natural materials, so some things are normal and not defects. These include slight differences in color and texture, hairline shrinkage cracks in concrete, and white mineral deposits on masonry that usually fade over time.

The guarantee doesn't cover damage from ground movement or drainage problems outside the area we worked on, de-icing salt, vehicles heavier than the work was built for, changes or repairs made by someone else, misuse or lack of normal upkeep.

Materials we install may come with their own maker warranties, and we'll pass those along to you. Beyond our guarantee, your written contract and those maker warranties, we make no other promises about the work, stated or implied, to the extent the law allows.

Limits on our liability

We're licensed and insured, and our crew takes reasonable care around your house, yard and landscaping. Some disturbance near the work area, like ruts from equipment or trampled grass, is a normal part of masonry work.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of your property or lost income. Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under the law.

Using this website

The information on this site is general and isn't engineering, legal or code advice for your property. Every house is different, which is why we look at your job in person before giving you an estimate.

The text, photos and design on this site belong to Masoncraft Fargo Concrete and Masonry. You may read and share them for personal use, but please don't copy them for commercial use or use the site in a way that harms it or other visitors.

This site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error free or online.

Resolving disputes

If you have a concern about our work or a bill, call us first. Most problems get sorted out quickly once we're on site and can see what you're seeing.

If we can't resolve it together within 30 days, either of us may take the matter to small claims court or another court with authority over it in Cass County, North Dakota, unless the law requires a different place.

Governing law

These terms and any job we do are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota. Where your property is in another state, such as a job in Moorhead, Minnesota, any consumer protections that state's law requires still apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will post the new version on this page. The terms in effect when you signed your estimate or contract are the ones that apply to that job.
