Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Masoncraft Fargo Concrete and Masonry handles the information you give us through this website, from the home page to the estimate request form. We're a masonry contractor in Fargo, ND, and we also work in Moorhead, West Fargo and the cities around them, so most of what we collect is what we need to come out, look at your project and follow up.
If you want to know more about who we are before you share anything, our About page covers the business and our crew. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.
What information we collect
When you fill out our contact or estimate form, we collect what you type in. That's usually your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property, and a description of the work you have in mind. If you call us at (701) 566-7317 or email us, we keep the details you give us in that conversation too.
Our forms are handled by an outside form service, so what you submit passes through that provider before it reaches us. That provider handles your information under its own privacy policy as well as this one.
Like most websites, ours may also collect basic technical information automatically. This can include your browser type, device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay, the site that sent you here and a general location based on your internet connection. We don't use this to identify you personally.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores so a site can remember things between visits. We may use cookies and analytics tools to count visitors, see which pages people read and find out what isn't working, so we can make the site easier to use.
These tools are run by outside companies that may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work, though some features, like the form, may not behave as expected.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to your question, set up an estimate visit, prepare a quote, schedule and do the work, and follow up after the job is done. If you become a customer, we also keep records for invoicing, our satisfaction guarantee and our tax and business records.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't rent it or trade it to other businesses for their marketing. We share it only with the services that help us run the business, such as our form, email and scheduling tools, or when the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above. For customers, that usually means keeping job and billing records for as long as our tax, accounting and guarantee obligations require. If you asked about a job that never went ahead, we don't hold onto your details longer than is reasonable for following up.
When we no longer need your information, we delete it or remove anything that would identify you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct anything that's wrong, or ask us to delete it. You can also tell us to stop contacting you about anything other than an active job, and we'll stop.
Depending on the state you live in, state law may give you more rights over your data. We'll honor reasonable requests no matter where you live, though we may need to confirm who you are first, and we may keep records the law requires us to keep.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable steps to protect the information you give us, and we limit access to the people who need it to handle your job. No website or email system is completely secure, so we can't promise that information sent over the internet will never be intercepted.
Please don't send payment card numbers or other sensitive financial details through our website form.
Children's privacy
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a home or property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page, and your continued use of the site means you accept it.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question about this policy, want to make a request about your information, or think we've handled your data the wrong way, reach out through our contact page or call us at (701) 566-7317. Tell us what you'd like us to do, and we'll reply within 1 business day and work it through with you.
